Harney County Rural School Night on the Town Fundraiser
- The Harney County Rural School Night on the Town Fundraiser is scheduled for March 11, 2011. This event is hosted at the Elks in Burns, Oregon, and will include a fabulous tri-tip dinner, live music by Levi Harris & Company, and both a silent and live auction. All of the rural schools in Harney County, and their supporting organizations, are invited to participate in the silent and live auction events. All proceeds from the silent and live auction items go to their respective schools or organizations. If you have an item to donate, please contact the foundation at the number below. Look for more information on tickets for the event to be posted to the website soon!

Harney County Rural School Science Competition & Discovery Day
- Each year the Frenchglen Education Foundation organizes and facilitates the Science Competition & Discovery Day at Crane Elementary for all the rural elementary schools in Harney County. This event is scheduled for March 16, 2011, at Crane Elementary School. Donations for prizes for this event are needed and welcomed. This event is dedicated to bringing all the rural students together for a full day of science fun and discovery.
